Delete your account

   Open the Velva app and sign in to the account you want to delete.

   Go to the Account tab then tap Settings.

   Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.

   Confirm when asked. Your account closes immediately.

This works for full accounts and guest accounts alike. You will be signed out and cannot sign in again unless we recover the account.

Order records are kept for the period Canadian tax and accounting rules require (currently up to seven years). They are detached from your account and used only for accounting, tax, fraud prevention and legal obligations.

For 30 days after you delete, we can recover your account with all your details and order history. You cannot do this yourself in the app. Email support@velva.ca from the address on your account and ask us to recover it. After 30 days it can no longer be recovered.

• If you have an order in progress, it will still be made and delivered, but you will no longer be able to follow it in the app. Cancel it first if you do not want it.
• You will not be able to view your past orders in the app afterwards.
• Your email stays reserved while the 30 days run, so you cannot register a new account with it until the account is permanently erased.

If you cannot sign in or no longer have the app, ask us to delete the account for you. Email from the address on your account and write “Delete my account”. If you ask us to erase it right away rather than after the 30 days, say so.
